The final game in our magnificent season. 3 points to finish on 99,would be a great achievement. Barnsley could well be looking forward to the playoffs, so we should have a better than even chance to win. Presentation after the game. I was hoping that the game would be available on the Sky red button, but cannot confirm it. Any streams I find, I will post a link.
Can I just say at this point, immense thanks to DD, Bure, Bengaluru and Zogean who, apart from myself, have contributed varied and content-filled / content-absent * (delete as appropriate) MDT's for the majority of this exciting and productive season. If we do continue with a 'winner stays on' policy again next season, I'd suggest that sadly, there won't be too many marathon stints available like there were this year. We've all done very well - cheers again
Is there a running list for MDT creators for that will continue into next season? I wouldn't mind throwing my name into the hat.
As long as someone tells me when to start to post haha Hopefully I am not on in January as all being well we're moving house to Newman... gonna be toasty!
The more the merrier Assuming Bure budgie wins the next one it's @Bure budgie @Cromercanary @bengalurucanary @zogean_king @SuffolkCanary @DUNCAN DONUTS @Hairy Mary Quite Canary Cup games don't count . Anyone else fancy doing a thread next season ?
Would have said yes, but am moving down under in July, so can't commit until I've found somewhere to live...might throw my hat in later when all is settled?
Lineup predictions? We've got some enforced changes (Skipp), but equally this is an opportunity to try fringe players out, and rest those who have played all season. Barnsley could still end up facing Brentford, Swansea or Bournemouth in the play-offs depending on the outcome of this game, so they'll still be trying. I don't think Farke would want to put an entirely weak lineup out (even if Ismael is a friend). Krul Mumba Hanley Omobamidele Giannoulis (if available?) Sorensen McLean Buendia Dowell Placheta Idah (if fit) I think Sorensen at DM and Mumba at RB are the most important things to see ahead of next season. Hopefully Tettey and Vrancic get minutes, but I'd rather use a competitive game for planning for next season, and if not quite a testimonial, it would be good to have a friendly match with fans in attendance for Vrancic and Tettey to sign off.
Same 11 with Giannoulis replacing Quintilla and Tettey replacing Skipp. Farke mentioned something about showing respect to the competition and not tinkering
Ditto. I can't commit at the moment because I'm still waiting for news whether I have residence where I'm currently living (so still using the old Lisbon nick), but if it's settled, I wouldn't mind having a go.
Teemu Pukki and Oliver Skipp will not feature in Norwich City’s final game of the 2020-21 season away at Barnsley this weekend. Following City’s 4-1 Sky Bet Championship victory over Reading at the weekend, scans and further assessment on Pukki’s right ankle have since revealed ligament damage. Over the coming period the Finland international will now undergo further medical assessment to confirm the timeframe of the injury. Pukki is City’s top scorer this season, amassing 26 goals in 42 appearances in all competitions. Skipp, meanwhile, has undergone surgery after scans revealed a fractured metatarsal in his right foot following a late challenge in the Reading fixture.
