We were AWFUL. Seriously woeful. More mad about Hamers reaction to green after the goal though, to be fair green couldn't cut out the pass, but he was at full stretch. I'd have a word with Hamer that he showed far to much of his near post to cywka- making the finish easy for him.

To then round it off, he doesn't clap green off the pitch, and then goes OTT when applauding his replacement- Pritchard. Stephens stuck up for green and had Hamer get in his face the guy needs a good punch.

 

woeful today. no pressing at all in the first half. he made the right changes but made little difference. still no pressing.

i'd like to say the ref was bad, but he actually wasnt. we were just bad today. couldnt string more than 2 passes together and did not pick up their albino playmaker at all. he bossed the game for them, we shoulda stuck stephens on him as he was not in the game today

just heard SCP say he'll bring back leon clarke.... this is going to be a tough season.

 

I think Clarke is only coming back with a view to a quick sale while he is in a scoring vein. Might get a useful 25,000 for him. No danger of our playing him when we have Hulse to replace Fuller.

Cheer up lads! Look on the bright side! We are three points clear of relegation and should get an easy 12 points from our next four fixtures:

Leeds away
Wolves away
Middlesboro home
Cardiff home

 

Our midfield is a real concern. Admittedly we were poor in the first half but in the second the midfield duo of Jackson and Stephens was practically invisible.

 

I'm more optimistic about the tougher away games. It seems its the only way we get motivated.

Agree with FHB about the midfield. Not sure why Razak came off- battled and won possession and linked well with fuller. I thought Stephens had a good game also- some great tackles and clean in possession. An extra point for telling Hamer where to go.
