I never knew this hence my confusion at OLM's post. Thanks for clarifying. That's a great offer to them to be fair.
I've just had a look at this on their website. Barnsley season ticket holders buying a full price ticket are entitled to a 2nd one for £2. Essentially £29 for two adults or £17 for 2 young adults (16-22).
The pitch is absolutely ****ed!!!!!!!!.... and I mean ****** I watched Wigan last night... their pitch, even allowing for the rain here today looked good compared to ours... it had been battered by rain yesterday
Indeed. Looks game off worthy and tomorrow looks wet as well. Wouldn't be a bad thing rather than attempting to play on that
Someone said the tubbylards don't ruin the pitch, have a look at channel 4 now, they are scratting at it like dogs on heat, and getting hammered. Although RH commentary said they were unlucky at half time going in 20-0 down. Nice tribute to Johhny Whiteley before kick off. Tuesday might be off after this. They have ruined the pitch today.
Heavy rain forecast in Hull tomorrow, dry and bright Mon and Tues. It's gonna take some work on it but I can't see it being pulled Urika? Edit...It is saturated though.
Snowing hard here now..... game Tuesday cancelled might be good for us.... rest some legs...?... get the sprinklers turned on...
What has changed with the pitch? Until about a year ago, waterlogging had never been an issue before because it was built with state of the art drainage and heating systems, and since getting those heat lamps it's generally been fine through winter regardless of two clubs playing on it. For the Fulham game though it was a right mess in places, when we hadn't even had that much rain in the scheme of things, and I remember it being uncharacteristically bad last winter too. Seem to remember us playing Lincoln on a pretty barren KCOM pitch. Why is it suddenly so fragile?
I think the pitch has been better than it has been for years We had tonnes of rain when we played Fulham. That’s why it cut up so much
It rained that morning but it's not like we'd had days of rain, and it's been a pretty dry winter really. No reason at all it should've been a bog like that.
