Some truth in that. Imagine not having to worry about all the crap of everyday life. I honestly don't know if I could cope without any worries. What could I moan about?
I won't go into details, because the 'you're actually living in a flat in Shields' brigade will be out stamping their little feet. But, I was body-guarding a famous racing driver for one night only, at Jimmyz night club. A lad was aggressively pestering him, as he posed for photos outside, and grabbed me when I said enough was enough. I clipped him right on the jaw and put him to sleep then propped him up so he wouldn't swallow his tongue or owt. 40 minutes later I was face down on the dancefloor with 3 polis pinning me down. The fella I hit was a Monaco citizen born & bred, Monegasque, and that's really bad news especially if you're a foreigner. So I copped a 10 year ban, my one and only ever night in prison and a 2000 euro fine
It's funny now mate but my kids were distraught, the polis said I'd get 2 years minimum and it cost me a fortune. I used to do all the GP's and various jobs there and I couldn't set foot in the place, there's cameras on every square inch of Monaco. Mind you, it is funny now looking back ...... I can't believe how good the food was in that prison, private cell with TV, watched England v Scotland and it even had a sea view
