i was told on friday night that laudrup was a very serious contender and they were going to speak with him over the weekend for the position, i read today that martinez has allegedly talked jones in to staying at wigan with him?
If he has gone to holland, that might tie in with Phillip Cocu he was rumoured strongly to be in the frame, he was someone that was mentioned to me over the weekend as being a possible.
i have a feeling that skybet aren't taking much money on this because no obvious candidate, so they are changing the odds for no reason so that it looks like something is happening and then that will get people putting some money on. Jones will be back out later and someone else will be favorite. While he's 2-1 with skybet, he's 4-1 with others. If it was serious money they would place bets with others not skybet. When odds are out of sync with different bookies it usually means the bookies playing around.
Taking an average of bookies odds across the board, Laudrup seems to be edging in front as the favourite. Poyet, Jones (gulp!!) and Holloway still handily placed.

Huw does like to slide one in through the back door. This has come from know were.My boy told me 45mins ago Sky said he was 14-1 then gone to odds checker and now down to 4-1 so must be some decent money going on him.
