<laugh> ... you need to pay more attention .. Leicester have at least 3 stand out 2015-16 PL players in the squad ... many would argue more ... Vardy, Mahrez and Kante all actually lead in their respective fields and Drinkwater is reportedly on the verge of an England call up ... with all due respect, a club as big as Liverpool doesn't even have one stand out 2015-16 PL player ... or at least nobody that can compete with those 4 currently ... realistically, unless you bring in better players over the close season there is no logical reason why that won't also be the case next season ...

You have your opinion, I have mine. The only difference is, mine is correct.

.. as stated ... we are 2 seasons in to a 5 year plan ... and it's going pretty well. <laugh>

  4. I think beyond Vardy and Mahrez it is a matter of opinion, hence me only saying two. I'd agree with there being more though. You didn't mention Huth either <ok>

Spurs have Lloris, Alderweireld, Alli, Kane, Eriksen etc too.

I think Leicester will splash the cash this summer though having gained CL football. Even more so if you manage to win the league.

  5. As i previously stated, its alright having a plan but if you exceed expectations during that time then the plan changes. People don't like regression

which two? cos I count 3 or 4. tbh If I were Leicester I would be more concerned about losing Kante', he's the sort of player Arsenal need, and I'd take him in a shot, Drinkwater is doing a great job

... I feel your pain ... but it's all relative ... I think our expectations (Club and fans) are still modest ... we have no historic heights to try and climb back to ... and our nearest rivals are struggling in a division below us rather than us having to look up the table to find them ... as such we can relax to extent and just really enjoy both the football and the ride.

You'll have to do better than that.

While you're at it, why don't you get your red & white shirt out of the closet and give it a big kiss!?...

Any Leicester fans that thinks we are going to replicate this next year are mental. Think it would be stupid for the club to change our plans based on 1 season.

You don't go from battling against Newcastle to avoid relegation to fighting for championships every year and expect the latter to stick.

The "big" clubs will look at this season, see that it isn't all about money, but about team spirit and fight, and then go out and spend waaay more money to try and compensate.

I'd be more than happy with a comfortable mid-table finish next year, similar to Stoke/Southampton/Everton where they can have shakey seasons, but still aren't really threatened with relegation.

You guys have done a great job. And if I'm honest, you're a huge breath of fresh air that the Prem needed.

There's no doubt in my mind that you will find it far more difficult next season, which is what I've been saying. It's just a pity that one or two poor deluded souls think you've turned into Barca in the last few months.

I might I do have one ... might be worth something ... back in the early 1970s (before replica shirts) la bloke who lived on my street in Leicester was a salesman for Admiral (sportswear not car insurers) .. anyway my family ran an off-licence on the corner and this bloke was a customer ... my mum's family were originally from a small Lancashire town, Clayton-Le-Moors and one of her brothers was on Man United's books in the same youth side as Duncan Edwards and Bobby Charlton ... anyway one time this bloke came in and started talking footie and the old man mentioned my mum's brother etc when he started talking about going up to Old Trafford on business (Admiral were United's kit manufacturers at the time) ...

Anyway, knowing that I was footie mad this bloke only came back with a large signed poster of George Best plus an actual mascot's shirt for me ... still got both ...

... pretty sure this was the poster ... shirt would therefore be a miniature of this

All of this is true ...

... you'd be better off putting it on us to win the Champions League (should we indeed get there) ... odds should be similar to those for winning the EPL this season and you can cash out around a similar time for a mega profit <laugh> ..... you wouldn't be the first!

... more seiously ... you'll probably get equally good odds on Liverpool winning next season's Europey <whistle>

And rightly so, since this is a football forum and THFC is a football club. Well set up for long term success it is too.

You don't like that thought...think the pikeys are butt hurting because even after such a successful season for them....they still find themselves a fair bit behind us.

yeah, but then I look at the context, Payet out for 3 months, Lanzini 4 months, Sakho 4 months, Reid 3 months, Carroll, well he's Carroll, how do you thin spurs woul dhave coped without Kane, or alli? That's the only bit of envy I may possibly have over you lot, your lack of injuries to your best players.

maybe I should start a petition to whine and blub about it.

Great player! One if the best I ever saw. The word genius gets used a lot, but he was as close to a footballing genius as you'll see.
