These are the teams we could draw in the next round - any problems???

    • Union Saint-Gilloise
    • SC Freiburg
    • Ferencvaros
    • Feyenoord
    • Real Betis
    • Real Sociedad
    • Fenerbahce

    Are you sure about this?

I think we're unseeded so we'll be in a group with a couple of top sides.

Just checked, United can face any of the seeded teams, which are the sides who topped their groups during the Europa League group stage earlier in the season.

Which happens to be the teams GF has stated above!

It's funny that sides like Juventus, Roma, Sevilla all went through in tonight's qualifiers and will all be unseeded along with United <laugh>

What's even funnier is Arsenal could draw one of them lol

Seriously though, I wouldn't be bothered drawing any of those.

Haven't checked, are Real Sociedad still good?

I think that we can safely conclude that they are certainly are no where near as good as Barca, "the team of the moment in Europe" according to GF.

Betis are ok and we know about Sociedad.
Can't see an issue with the rest.

Next round must only be last sixteen though?

    **** sake.

So Betis it is - they are fifth in La Liga at the minute (22 points off Barca) and have lost two of their last five games. I don't see them that often on TV but will try and watch them in their next few games.

Interesting that most of the others will want to avoid a premiership club. And Arsenal and Utd will want to avoid each other.

First game at home against Betis.

Get off to a good start in the first leg with the crowd behind the team, then that may help with squad rotation for the 2nd tie.

Betis are one of the toughest from those we could've had. Oh well nvm.

West Ham at home - 1st March
    Liverpool away - 5th March
Betis at home - 8th March
Southampton at home - 11th March
    Betis away - 15th March

    Here we go again!!

I think I've met the Manchester version of myself.

I just wanted to reiterate what I said yesterday and that it that you never get injuries to key players.
