As far as I'm concerned, I couldn't care less if there is a flyover or not. But, if there is one, just get on with it and DO IT. Be spontaneous, don't crave publicity beforehand, that's crass. It's as if they've been seeking permission to do it ffs.
To be honest, I think if they've hired a plane they should be taking the piss out of the sad bastards like they did with us. It will hurt them more. It's not like our fans haven't made plenty of generous gestures for Bradley already this season. Every opportunity should be taken to rub their noses in it. They've had planes, banners off the Tyne Bridge and gods knows what else in the past. **** them.
Reading about it I have to agree with you, the alternative would be as pointed out by others is to not even bother with the banner and just give all the money raised to the 3 kids.
