Ford Heath; the middle of nowhere
Rather than this rather uninspiring patch of grass we currently have as our banner, I've begun process of designing a new banner which can be put at the top with some collaboration with the chief mods. It is attached, and any more images (as it is a little sparse at the moment) which would add something, then please leave a URL in the comments for me or an attachment.

I fiddled around with looking for a decent image for the top a while back. Perhaps a shot of the ground and the fans celebrating?

I don't think many people would understand the connection to the gentleman in the photo, but that's why I like it.

is the gentleman with the coracle eustace rogers of ironbridge? if so he taught my father how to paddle a coracle. love the banner, only 2 loggerheads? no room for a third

aj is not fussed about inclusion of tb or not, he may be at cardiff in 3 months, and for the record aj is always happy, more so when in his local. good work lenny.

As a quick play around. Would you want any text on it i.e Breath on 'em Salop? Floreat Salopia? Unbeaten at home 2011-12? Shrewsbury Town? STFC?

Or just plain backgorund picture? Any suggestions?

I think we posted that simultaneously there Matster! I am trying to stay away from including current players due to the fact they're all going to leave at some point, although it's a simple enough job to change it around if they do.

I also have two Turner pictures, but I'm quite happy to put another one on!

Always wondered if .....
.....the ball retriever was paid or did he do it for love?
......were there two of them so he could have holidays or be off sick?
.....if he was a fan how could he see matches in the days before 'The football league show'?
.....when we had all the floods in the old days (but still just managed to get the match on) how dangerous was it?

As you can see I am very much a son of the Severn, loved my fishing too!

Let's add one more for the oldies.....can anyone remember after one flood the ground was covered in sand but someone thought molasses woulds be a good addition!!! It looked bad but after a couple of matches it smelt awful! :emoticon-0119-puke:
