Really?

Should he really be banned for this?

Should people being offended really ****ing matter?

People cause careers to end with horrible challenges and don't get banned for life. Player make racist comments to each other and get banned for 12 games, nothing more.

But some idiot makes a nazi salute and gets banned for life? Seriously? How ****ing pathetic.

I realise that it's an emotional subject, but are we really gonna get so offended when people simply mention the past?

If he was saying things like "kill jews in the name of our Aryan Lord Hitler! Heil Hitler" and things like that, then I'd understand.

But simply for making an arm gesture he's banned for life? XD

Sorry rotterthepotter you are out of order. WW2 is still fresh in the minds of some people. Many of whom lost members ot the family who were fighting what the nazi salute stood for. If only you knew, you wouldn`t be so flippant regarding the salute.

I suppose given what happened to thousands of Jews mate.. that's one thing you don't do. To get a lifetime ban for it? I would lock him in a room with a dozen survivors of the Holucaust personally. There is going OTT Rotter to do that is simply not done. Just my own oppinion, no offence meant.
 
The only thing I would say is that punishemnet in football is rarely consistent.
 
I think a life ban is pretty harsh, obviously punishment is needed, and yeah ban him for life is he refuses to accept he was wrong or is a neo-nazi
