Interesting Swann above Collingwood, but has paid dividends. Bresnan and Shahzad aren't mugs either, but we just need as many runs as possible now. If we get Tamim out cheaply we win, if not I dare say we lose.
When will England sort out this awful death overs batting? Ross Taylor showed how it was done, but we have been consistently bad throughout this tournament. We cannot simply rely on Trott to put some runs on the board every time. Oh dear Shahzad and Bresnan... once again loss of wickets late on once against costs England the chance to post a competitive total. Will take some special bowling here, the pitch not much for bowlers - which just goes to show just how bad England have batted once more!
Ok, that's it. Collingwood hasn't pulled his weight this tournament at all, neither has Prior. Bring back Alastair Cook I say.
225 all out. One positive; the highest target successfully chased down at this ground in the 9 previous ODIs was 222 by Bangladesh against Zimbabwe in 2009.
Phew 2 down now... I have no problem dropping a rather out-of-form Yardy... but then replacing him with an even more off-form Collingwood makes no sense! James Tredwell is in the squad and is a decent spinner, and probably can't do a worse job at batting than the rest of the tail.
17-2 in the last 5 overs. England are very much back in the game - but, like their other 4 games, it could go to the wire.
Well, we'e got through their best batting. From what little I've seen of Bangladesh Mahmadullah and Shakib are the only 2 real threats left. 10 overs of Bopara and Collingwood isn't looking an attractive option to me, really spin to win.
Bangladesh on top and look like favourites at the moment. But I just get the impression that a wicket now will lead to another and another. We need a breakthrough!
With every run this pair puts on, the game gets further out of England's grasp. 4 an over is easy even for tailenders. If Bangladesh can do it, why couldn't England?
Once again Swann and Bresnan have bowled well, (Swann considering the slippyness!) and the rest have been average at best. Broad definatley being missed.
