Have a fun death. I've found it even harder than the first so far.

All part of the fun my friend! I never played Demon Souls, but played the hell out of Dark Souls. 3 times I think it was in the end so I could gather certain items to make the naughtiest weapons. Interesting that it's going to be harder, but I feel i'm ready!

Did I mention that I was at the Summer Solstice this early morning..? Had thought about for weeks, as I always do, every year, but never get round to it. This time it was a last minute Louie job, and I bombed up to Stonehenge on the bike. Something like 40,000 others did the same. It was great. Saw the Sun come up and felt really good about it. Met several nice people and their bikes and the Hari Krishna people pushed free hot vegetarian food onto me. It was surprisingly nice too.

I suppose I should say something like Vegetable Rights and Peace after all that. I might go again next year. It was a very nice experience being among the alternative set.

Oh man, just had a quick look into it and it sounds awesome! Not out til next year by the looks of it? By that time I guess I will have pretty much finished with the ps3, and that might just encourage me to get a ps4. Playing FIFA must be beautiful too compared to ps3 so that will nudge me as well :)

I haven't played any of these games. Might try getting into Dark Souls.

Oh please do man. You could pick up Dark Souls for next to nothing now I reckon so seriously worth a shot. Open world game, and whilst it isn't nearly as expansive as Skyrim etc it makes up for it in other areas. It can be unforgiving at times but that just makes it all the more rewarding when you finally beat that boss that has been destroying you!

Yep, same here, and I decided that I'd carry out my own wish. As they say, the only thing stopping me was the leaving. My mate phoned me around about 3am and asked if I wanted company, after saying all week that he didn't fancy it. Of course he came on his bike too, so we both bombed up there. I think he enjoyed it even more than I did. The roads were absolutely deserted, so it was biker's heaven.

Excellent stuff. A good 4 or 5 years ago (maybe a bit longer) I was driving on the A303, it must have been a good day or so after the summer solstice but I can remember people still milling around on the roundabouts and the side of the road. Maybe they were walking back to wherever it was they had come from <yikes>

I bet it was indeed a biker's heaven on the desolate roads! You will laugh, but my only experience of motorbiking was when I was 17 and had my pride and joy - twas an Aprilia rs 50!

I'm on my fourth Alfa at the moment. There are some rites one should do. Only a 147 now but has been a dream.

I had a 156 when they first hit the UK. Even that purred. I no longer have company cars, but buy my own and so can't bring myself to get another Alga yet as I do so many miles each year. My wife wants one; she loves the guilietta and maybe soon I'll get back into one. For work, I'd take the 159.

LTL, how old is your 147 and is it ok in terms if wear and year? I'm hoping the BMW tech guy that went there as upped Alfa's game.

Oh dear! I expect Luke just misunderstood when asked if he fancied a game of "keepie uppie";)

Or it's just the Sun being a scuzzie rag, one or t'other.

How many bits have fallen off or failed so far? I've had 10 alfas over the years from suds to GTVs, although nothing newer than 8 years old and they've all been fabulous to drive and horrible to own (although my local Alfa parts bloke loved me cos I put his kids through college)

I'm currently driving a Seat Ibiza but thought long and hard about a Guilietta when I changed last time.....I think it might be that the guilietta is just a little bit too well made and grown up for me so will probably wait for a replacement for the Mito to come along that isn't just a fiat punto in a sexy outfit.
I passed my test in a Sud so I guess great/terrible hatchbacks are my thing still after 30 years

Was it the Sud that one would always see on bricks, rusting on people's driveways in the 80s?

That's the one FLT, they came straight from the factory with pre installed rust. Best 4 cylinder engine I've ever had the pleasure to rev the bollocks out of though. Flat 4 engine and great weight distribution made it better than the sum of its parts......which were usually in a box in the garage waiting to be replaced. **** electrics too. Still love them though, and a mate has a perfectly restored example that I get to play with occasionally.

At least we know he wasn't advised by Rooney though, cos she looked like she still has her own teeth.
