Too young to have really lived.

 

That reeeeally freaks me out. Obviously it's right for some people, but when I put myself in their shoes it just seems so wrong. I don't think I'll be ready for that until I'm at least 30.

Then again, it could be a long engagement?

 

Maybe, but I get the feeling it's not. They were kind of planning it in college when they'd been together all of three months.

 

I mean, I don't know these people, but I don't have good feelings about the longevity of this marriage.

 

Would it help if I pointed out they're both super mega Christian?

 

Are they getting married just so they can have sex?

 

I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the main reasons. I dunno though, she's always been nice enough but a pain in the arse to be around for more than half an hour, so I feel bad for the poor guy.

Sorry I am late and you moved on, but the comment about tomatoes reminds me of one of my favourite sayings;

"If you want to know the difference between knowledge and wisdom,

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit
Wisdom is not putting it in the fruit salad"

 

Tomato juice is a funny old thing. I always only ever used to drink it when I was on a plane. I really can't tell you why that is, but it seems to be a common thing. Now of course, I enjoy a bloody mary. Often.

 

I flew back from Austria last Monday and sat there wondering why I see so many people drinking tomato juice on a plane; there must be a reason.
