He'd even googled Llansamlet to find out the local pub names so he could tell us where he was doing his imaginary drinking. Sad.

it was his girlfriend or close friend, cfz. what is in the past is gone. we all now know it was crap, and I say again cfz. totally over hughs hence he has been on iggy for a fair while
 
Uplands and Musty,

You both have expressed poor judgement in bringing up this incident. You both are not aware of the truth and to drag it up again is beyond contempt. This is the only warning you will receive, continue with this and I have no problem in banning you.

poor effort there Taff, the guy is a pathological liar and has been caught out on many occasions. I get a yellow for a meaningless comment, and your mate who makes every thread into a wum has not received a red (even if only for 24 hrs) beggars belief. if I get a red for this comment I will pm you with tips for sheeps tipping comp if that is ok

Musty, again that is your opinion but to belittle something like cancer is not appropriate posting especially when on open forum. You may send me as many private messages as you wish, I will bin them. So yes you are getting a ban and if I had my way it would be a site ban but that is not my call. I just hope you do not have to go through the pain of family dying from this horrible disease.

I honestly think that banning should not be allowed to be 'requested'. I mentioned back around the yellow card idea that requesting a card should result in you getting an instant yellow yourself. Taff and Blue are our Mods, they do not have to explain themselves. A few posters (both sides) are making this a lot more hassle than it could possibly be worth. If the mods over step the mark this board will soon call them on a poor overall performance but that should be ina dedicated thread not this tit for tat ****, but we put the pair of them in charge because they're sensible posters. I, for one, trust their judgement.

Taff may have made mistakes with some warnings/lack of etc. But leave the poor bloke alone, stop running to him like a bunch of school kids demanding bans for this, bans for that. Followed by the he said/she said bollocks.

If you want to be a mod, put up a thread requesting the right, we can decide as a democracy if you're suitable. If not back the **** up and let poor Taff and Blue do the almost impossible job this board has created.

You have agreed with uplands and then you go on to call John a liar, so yes you are.
I sincerely hope your results are negative. I have nothing more to say on this subject.

I'd like to think that you would withdraw that accusation once you read over the comments.

You are totally wrong.

Don't see the need for anyone to apologise to Musty until he stops (after his ban) clogging this board up with his hatred of JH. Stick to slagging him off on the WUM thread and leave the rest of this board alone and he'd get a much better reaction. WE GET IT!!! A few of you don't like JH, if you carry on clogging up the board with it the bans will surely keep flowing.

Calling someone a liar in relation to cancer is very dodgy ground (as Taff pointed out in the initial warning). Can you imagine the reaction if we piled into Musty saying we thought he was lying? (I don't BTW)
Anyone who lies about relatives/visiting someone with/having cancer is obviously beyond redemption but unless you have absolute proof that they are lying you should steer very well clear.

Has anyone even met JH? If not how on earth can you claim to know what is or maybe true amongst the undoubted bullshit he does come up with.

Cancer affects far too many people and families in the most serious way to be made light of by using it as a point scoring exercise on a pathetic ban thread on a football forum.
 
My issue isn't whether JH has lied or not or whether Musty has lied, my issue is with the fact that both Musty and Uplands have been wrongly labelled as people who are belittling and mocking people with cancer.
 
I'll have you know, that Musty has been very supportive to me and my wife during her battle with cancer, see our cancer thread. If I could retrieve the deleted PM's I've from him I'd post them on here to show his support.

They aren't telling porkies either. I have a vivid memory of what happened back on 606.

Taff with all due respect no one is belittling cancer I think it's probably touched all our lives, I know it has my family and I would never ever joke or say anything derogatory about it. You weren't around then but I was and Musty and Uplands are speaking the truth. If you don't believe me then just go on our board and ask some of the older posters.
 
The post in question was over the weekend of 2nd, 3rd and 4th of December 2010 on 606. It did happen and as per 606 allowed, John quickly deleted his thread when he was pulled up on it.

You can check the BBC 606 archives if you want. He could delete his thread, but not the aftermath.
 
valley most of cwmbach was there so was just asking........I payed my respects 2 a friend who died of cancer aged 37.
 
Why don't you all just shut the **** up?

This board was a fun place with the odd inevitable trauma now and again between members and the odd wum invader alert. It's now become a tiresome site to log onto and totally devoid of any pleasure for me.

No drama queen stuff from me, but I've had a gutsfull of all this crap like I expect a few others have as well.

Taff - you and Sheepy run this board as moderators as you see fit. As far as I'm concerned, you're doing your very best at a difficult time.

When this board returns to talking about football rather than posters, I'll be back. Until then you can all shove it.
