This is how I see the problem so just my opinion... When something is aimed at you, or you believe it to be, you notice every little comment where others don't so when you bite back only your outburst is recognised. You bit, you were singled out yet nobody quoted Leeds60 in post #66 as it was an almost cryptic dig. I don't think if memory serves me right that anyone commented or picked up on it a while back when you asked him to leave it after loosing a family member and he called you a liar when you questioned would you joke about such an event. I genuinely am sorry to hear about his wife's recent hospital visit and I thought the digs had been left behind, more important things to worry about and all that but obviously not. Short answer to your question No. I know how I felt with Sheldon and his constant digs and snipes although he did it in a far more intelligent but more annoying way.
Tbf OLOF pointed it out, he just didn't link it to me specifically. Perhaps Mike might take my comment on board and let us all move on....
Exactly leedslover pearce would go back to his old tricks of giving penalties away by holding onto players as he is not skillful enough to stop them otherwise lets hope we sell him to a team we have to play again this season.
Sol Bamba: 'Max Gradel told me to join Leeds United' http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/footbal...amba-gradel-told-me-to-join-leeds_201778.html
LUFC Leicester City View On Sol Bamba http://www.leeds.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=386170 Vital Leeds United have been in touch with Vital Leicester City editor SvensAmbition to get the lowdown on our new signing Sol Bamba. Bamba spent eighteen-months in the Championship with Leicester City between January 2011 and May 2012 and he made 55 appearances. The 30-year-old then had spells in Turkey with Trabzonspor and in Italy with Palermo, from where Leeds have signed him, so we have spoken toVital Leicester to see just how well he did during his last spell in the championship. What are his strengths and weaknesses? Sol is a good, solid defender who can also distribute the ball well. I guess you already know our former England manager Svenny compared many of his attributes to that of German legend Beckenbauer, but obviously, he`s no Beckenbauer, he just shows flashes of that without really having the same sort of consistency and inherent leadership in the way he performs. He`s also a centre back with an eye for a goal, which is always a bonus. The weakness mainly is his strength for me. He likes using the ball, he`s not a defender prone to trying to find the proverbial Row Z - if it wasn`t for his tackling ability and his ability to read attacks, in many ways he`s a frustrated playmaker. He wants to bring the ball out of defence, play properly, find a pass, have a flick and that does get caught out. Any player at the back who likes taking risks on the basis it will work out, look good and be productive, will end up looking a bit of a fool at points - but you love them for them - just not in the moment. Bamba however was pretty much just loved because of that. But, he can try to over play when the typical English response of 'boot it` is far more appropriate. Was you disappointed at the time to see him leave in the summer of 2012? Yes, and I wasn`t alone. The decision to let him go makes sense when you consider our new gaffer at the point, Nigel Pearson, was a no nonsense, boot it, floor them centre half in his day. Pearson probably would`ve done the same with somebody like Rio Ferdinand if he inherited him. He`s of a school where defenders kick the ball as hard as possible and as far as possible...so Bamba didn`t fit. And it wasn`t a decision that went down well with the fans really because he was such a fan favourite. The transfer, under a million as reported, was even stranger because Bamba was subject to a lot of speculation from Premier League teams at the point, so even those who 'understood` the transfer still felt he left on the cheap. The daft thing is with how Leicester have grown since Pearson`s day one in that season, we have our moments of 1980`s 'who can kick it the furthest` at the back but we try and distribute the ball now, we don`t just hump it - so Bamba would now be - at least for me an asset to the playing squad now. But manager`s come in, identify weaknesses and move quickly to stamp their authority on the team...at the point we needed to be more solid and Bamba didn`t fit. The fact he could fit now, if he could make the adjustment to the Prem is irrelevant really and hindsight is a lovely thing. But it was a sad departure for the fans. If you could describe Samba in three words, what would they be? "Just kick it..." "Oh you lucky..." "Don`t do that..." "I love you..."
