Playing 2 strikers mean you either have to have a 2 man midfield, or no wingers. 2 man midfield would be very dangerous as Gerrard is not mobile enough (Henderson would be fine of course), it would be like United's recent few seasons where we've had no legs in the centre of the park. The only reasonable solution (imo) for you to play 2 strikers is a 4-3-1-2 type formation, which might actually suit your players as you have attacking fullbacks to keep the width, and a few good attacking midfielders.
Also Liverpool's success last season was, in part, based on the interchange and fluidity of Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling (and to a lesser degree Coutinho). Changing to 2 upfront would totally destroy this.
