Saw the footage of him arriving on Sky. Fans outside the gates were going mental. Trying to think of a song for him but struggling - too many syllables.
12 posts... 5 of them on this thread. The other 7 over 2 threads on United board. Looks like this is his fav Edit: Since I last checked he's made 4 more posts... all on the Liverpool board, making this officially his fav one
Looking a pat on the head from the prima....sadly UIR will look at him like an aging queen looks at the rising ....cough....star......a mixture of pity at her naivete and envy at her vigour...
I think it's hilarious that people think our club is going to collapse because we're signing Baloteli. 3 league titles with inter, champions league winner, PL title and FA cup winner with city - can't be that much of a distraction in the real world can he.
Don`t think he will be too much of a disruption to the club but, i would be worried about the fact that no club has ever made any effort to keep him. He has aged since his time at City, i don`t know if he has matured/grown up to match his age as i don`t follow Italian football.
Bit too ott for someone who hasn`t even signed yet, you lot would do better to wait for the leaning pics before going all Beatle Mania over him
I know right, fairly pathetic if you ask me, most of em (in PL and Champ) are overpaid lunks anyways. Def not worth hanging around hours for to try and bumfuck
So apparently he's taking a huge payout AND the contract has behaviour clauses. Ticking all the right boxes...
I think it's an odd signing purely because his style of play is at odds with Liverpool's footballing philosophy under Rodgers. You can't really afford one wandering maverick contributing ffff all to the team, while everyone else passes it around nicely, you'd be playing with 10 men. It's just interesting! I'm curious whether it'll work and make for a successful partnership, or whether it'll just end up being a Danny Osvaldo-esque signing. As a neutral, having Mario back in the league is a good thing, and having Liverpool with more attacking threat is an even better thing, so I hope it works out. It's hardly broke the bank if it doesn't, though.
Similar was said when we signed Anelka on loan after he'd been at several clubs at a young age. We should have signed him permanently but for Houllier going mental and thinking Diouf was a better option Nail and head I agree about having Mario back in the league but not so keen it being with us
