    Come off it Nana, if any of those three had really wanted him, Southampton wouldn't have got a look in. They all backed off at the price, still it remains to be seen whether that was the right decision though, so you never know.

    Spurs offered him a contract, but he thought that the wage offer was a derisory one.Liverpool didn't make a move probably because they didn't have enough money and he didn't want to be a bench warmer at Inter.
