Clyne's tackle may have been fine, but let's hope he plays well in the Tyne for at least half of the time otherwise some people may whine and not give a dime.

Clynes' timing was impeccable WD and the finesse he showed in not only dispossessing Maradonas' son in law, but in staying on his feet AND coming away with football was an absolute masterclass in how to tackle Argentina scum.

It was a great tackle but unfortunate for Augero due to the way he fell.
Any one who has played or coached at a high level will know that.
In fact anyone who has watched and understands football should know that.
Ah so I suppose that takes singing out of the frame.

Take it how you want Wd
Reading some of the ridiculous comments on the tackle means I can only draw one conclusion and that's they don't know anything about football . If it was a Pompey player on a Southampton player, the fact would still remain, it was a bloody good tackle.

To be fair, I didn't actually see the tackle so I can't really comment.

Argentina scum? Explain that one, racist.

Not quite sure I understand, it's ok to call Southampton supporters Scum/Scummer but a Argentine is not ?

Good point! Also, pretty sure Aguero is not a different race. So not "racist." Xenophobia , maybe?

Xenophobe wouldn't have had the 'cutting edge'. Point still stands though.

And no I don't think calling Southampton fans scum is acceptable either. Even if it is to 657 Crew hard-geezers innit, like Singing Blue.

Lapras they call us Skates we call them Scummers, no harm in that, both are derogatory terms intended to offend. again its healthy to despise each other and make the old blue blood rush around a little!<laugh>
