Am I right in saying he was potentially due back this week?

Don’t think I’d be starting him yet but he could be a boost if he’s anywhere near able to get back in to top speed. Which is always a risk this late in season

TM said he was supposed to be training a couple of days this week. Bench at best I'd say

If that’s the case I’d probably even leave him off the bench and get him ready for the final day if needed

Be good to get some minutes in his legs so he's ready for the play offs if we get there

No need to rush him back this week, keep him for later, our back three were more than adequate against WBA, in fact they were superb.

Its a tough call. Nobody wants to see him return too soon and risk another injury but at the same time hes arguably in the top 3 best defenders in the league and these next 2 games are must win.
Our patched up defence was great against Wba, but to get through the season with no natural CB and expecting our defence to perform that way again against a talented Watford forward line and a decent Preston team is also a big risk and abig ask.

This. It would be great to have him back for Preston and hopefully the play-offs…

    Wouldn't risk him this weekend.

If we are still in with a play-off chance then I would have him on the bench for Preston, but only risk him in an emergency.
