Off to the Norwich, disheartening to say the least, good luck to the lad, hope Norwich treat him better than we have. Robson, Mumba whos next.

One of the best things about being a fan of SAFC is watching the kids that make it through the Academy system. finaly become pro's.

Most end up as 'honest pro's' but there is the occasional good one, and even when they have moved on to bigger things, it's good to follow their careers.

But this it seems will be a thing of the past, at least for a few years.
The best of our youngsters are being let go.
Our most successful Team, the Ladies is being run into the ground.
We are not even seen as worth mocking by most of Our Friends to the North.
    Instead we get their sympathy.

    Whats the point?

I’ll not miss him at all tbh.
Had an ok debut then never really got a game after that and didn’t exactly set the world alight out on loan.

Good luck to you Bali. Would rather he'd stayed but when players get offers to be higher up the pyramid I can't blame them for leaving.

Sadly it's a sign of the times, we are a feeder club to anyone in a higher league to us which unfortunately is just about everybody at the minute.
Any youngster with a modicum of talent and some ambition is bound to move on given our current circumstances.

The conditions have to be right, and the attitude of the backroom staff has to be right, for any young players to "set the world alight" we are no where near. Its not the players fault if chances are few and far between, its the set up at the club that is letting them down. And supporters who do not give them a chance deserve what they are getting imo.

He wont miss us either imo. If he is played in his correct position, not at full back, but as an attacking midfield player, he could go all the way imo. I for one hope that he does, he has a style that reminiscent of M'Vila, and I and will watch his career with interest.

he’s been signed as a right back I think I seen in a post. I wish the lad well as he’s from shields but I’m not convinced he’s that good tbh we shall see.

Frightening to think how bad he must be if they don’t think he’s as good as the s hite we have now.

Wages will need to be trimmed with so little income coming into the club so more players will probably have to go.. Not sure what the answer is to this.

Thats a point, makes you wonder how any of them are managing tbh, I have an appealing suggestion, a world wide return of amateurism. Not as mad as it sounds and certainly not as mad as the present system.
