Mate, it's Sunday, the sky is blue, the grass is green, the birds are chirping, we thumped Newcastle for 6, Coutinho is boss, Sturridge has a ****ty celebration, and the FA didn't charge Borini for biting himself!!

    Life is good!! :) :)

Its ridiculous that his name was booed by people in the room though. The people who booed him really need a long hard look at themselves.

Seriously? They booed at the award ceremony?

Amazed a rousing rendition of " we know what you are" didn't ring out.

    I agree. I haven't seen it and I didn't realise he'd been booed.

Especially when they apparently cheered someone who missed a drugs test.

But **** them and their pissy little ceremony, we all know Suarez has been the best player in the premier league this season, we don't need some crappy vote that is as pathetic as the eurovision votes to confirm that.

I think obviously I wanted Suarez to win but I think mata has been more impressive than all really and only for Chelsea chopping and changing and having an indiffernt year ( for them) he has slipped down.

My theory is, Suarez got the most votes however the end result was "tinkered with" so to speak. Suarez is the best player in the league and should have won. Gnashergate really should not have come into it and it is a shame it has.

RVP was my choice. sublime player, and the sweetest vollier I've ever seen. I was hoping he'd miss most of the season with injuries. <steam>

    Bale a great player though.

Obviously I would have gone for Suarez, But Bale has been Fantastic this season and fully deserves the award.
Now he can follow AVB to Madrid and see if he can give Ronaldo and Messie a run for there money

On football alone you can see Bale being up there, but then on football alone the same applies to Suarez. Not seen any references to the 3,4,5 (actually don't know how many) "simulation" bookings Bale picked up this year but plenty about every indiscretion of Suarez. Now to be fair Bale has tidied up in this respect and I thought Luis was doing the same until Knasergate but still bemused at the unfettered adulation in the press for Bale despite it highlighting the brazen piousness of their jubilation and reporting.

Anyhow well done Bale, has scored some crackers <ok>
