I think we certainly have an opportunity to make amends from last week by going at them and forcing them to play an open game which will suit us.
This will probably mean another high scoring game.

Perhaps so Luke, but I think with Harry's now allowance for a free role for Bale maybe the tactic of Raphael closing him down may have to change.
Agree about Modric though, with Scholes able to do this job Harry may have to re-think how to combat this.
I suspect a few of them have been reminded of their defensive duties bearing in mind the fullbacks were left high and dry last week and I'm sure Walker & Ekotto will be aware of the threat of your wingers.

Rafael got sent off last time you visited us and a bit late as I remember it. VDV hit the bar in his first game against united and went very close on a couple of occasions at the Lane I believe.

I think Defoe's early bicycle kick might have been the last time we scored against you, that was a couple years ago and we still lost. If we can score first again at home I think we'll be stronger, if we sit back like we have in the past we could lose our momentum but we haven't been guilty of this at home this season.

He was lucky not to be given a straight red, should've been sent off for waving the imaginary card and a few other fouls. I don't care what 'Arry says, he's not the type to stick the boot in on decisions, and Rafael had his coming for a long time regardless of which foul was the one that finally saw him go. I know what you're saying but as well as Rafael did in stopping the ball getting to Bale, he could've lost it for you late on.
