    This time the paper is simply reporting exactly what many others are reporting, which informs me that it is an agency generated item and not one obtained as the result of The Guardian's own first-hand investigations.

    That doesn't explain how a newspaper, wherever they get their news from, can have the highest incidence of correctly reported transfer stories and still be a 'Wum Rag' does it HIAG ?

    I suspect that the third of stories they get right are those that they investigate themselves and are able to verify a credible source.

    In the current Bale story, there are no credible sources.

    Those that they get right have ensured that they hold the honour of being the most accurate Newspaper when it comes to transfer stories. So how does this equate with them being a 'Wum Rag' HIAG ?

    Sandy can't help himself. But I'm not sure if he really is Sandy Brown - although the dozy wum style would fit - He is definitely a Sandy crack though <ok>

    Most transfer stories only have two outcomes - they are true or false. So being right 34% of the time is worse than guessing!
