A little too early to be worried about us not getting in CB's and a GK tbh!! Whilst it would be great to get all the players we want in early that blatantly isn't going to happen, especially with the Euro's and the Olympics coming up!! There hasn't been much movement from many clubs so far this is even despite the high number of free signings around!!
I don't get that logic The best players are always the first to be snapped up while the old duffers are the ones that are always left.
It hasn't stopped the likes of Wednesday, Burnley, Palace and Peterboro signing their targets! We are not after premier league players so the fact that the Euro's are on is completely irrelevant!
Rather than think we have to get someone so just signing people quickly i'd much prefer to make sure we get the right people in, ATM we've plenty of time but if we are still looking come August i might start to worry............
As far as I am aware Burnley have only signed 1 player so far and that was today!! Palace have only signed 1 permanent player!! Wednesday have signed 3 players and Posh have signed 4, 2 of which they already had an agreement with the club. So these clubs have hardly been overly active in the market so far. I still think the Euro's are relevant, it generally effects the whole market even if we aren't targeting PL or international players, it filters down. I think we've just got to be patient, transfer business is rarely done early in the window and it's very rare to get all your transfer targets!! If we are going into the season with ALB & Delaney as 1st choice it may not quite be panic stations but i shall certainly be concerned!!
