Seeing that the next match is going to be our first test and we’ll have to ‘prove’ to the critics that we’ve ‘risen’ high on merit I ‘knead’ to know what I should bake to ensure points are in the bag.

    To date:

    • Newcastle 2 – 1 Everton (Pineapple and Cinnamon Muffins)
    • Stoke 1 – 3 Newcastle (Spiced Pumpkin Cheesecake)
    • Blackburn 4 - 3 Newcastle (Double batch of White Chocolate and Chili brownies – NOTE: First batch went wrong yet second batch were perfect)
    • Newcastle 1 – 0 Wigan (Amaretto Cake)
    • Newcastle 2- 2 Tottenham (Carrot Cake)
    • Wolves 1- 2 Newcastle (Lemon Drizzle Cake)
    • Newcastle 3-1 Blackburn (Chocolate Muffins)
    • Forest 3 – 4 Newcastle (Lemon and Ginger Muffins)
    • Villa 1 – 1 Newcastle (Baked Cheesecake)
    • QPR 0 – 0 Newcastle (Didn’t bake)
    • Newcastle 2 -1 Fulham (Orange and Amaretto Upside down Cake)
    • S****horpe 1 – 2 Newcastle (Blueberry and Almond Muffins)
    • Sunderland 0 – 1 Newcastle (Jalapeno, Sweet corn and Cheese Cornbread)
    • Newcastle 0 – 0 Arsenal (Didn’t bake)

Seems chocolate works well, citrus is proven and booze to date has a 100% record.

Other - Bake a 'sauce' cake. My Grandma used to make them. Its just an ordinary layered sponge cake, but with differnt sauces separating each one. Like this:

    Icing
    Jam
    Sponge
    Hershey's chocolate sauce
    sponge
    maple syrup
    sponge
    jam
    sponge
    strawberry sauce
    sponge

etcetc. Each piece of sponge should be about 1cm thick, so you can have lots of layers.

Nice one OT, they all sound delicious.

We've won every time you've made muffins so go for white chocolate muff muffs.

Happy at her work? You'll have to give her a cut in her salary.
