Taylor will be first out of the door ( thank god )

What a complete waste of money he's proven to be so far. Yeah fine he hasn't had too many opportunities but can someone please tell me what on earth he offers apart from running with the ball and not looking up?

Sooner he's gone the better frankly!

Westy, seems like we have a difference in opinion here
Taylor seems to be a complete **** off the pitch and I would rather he was gone aswell but I honestly dont see it happening on this occasion. As I said earlier, MM has said he has come back in after the summer break with a different attitude after being told previously he had no future here. That knock back sounds like it has given him the kick up the arse he needed.
It will be interesting to see who goes but its a nice situation whereby we have too many options rather than too few!

As long as we don't slip back into the situation of a bloated squad with more quantity than quality.

    Welcome to Town Balint.
Looks like we'll have a pretty tall team this season. I can see a lot of goals coming from set pieces.

As others have said, it's a low risk move and he has made some positive first impressions.

Hopefully this will not result in Marriott being pushed further down the pecking order. I had hopes he'd be given an opportunity to impress this season. Get rid of Paul Taylor and Frank Nouble, both haven't lived up to expectations and their performances have, on the whole, been really disappointing for us. Offloading those two will also free some more cash on the wage bill.
