Never has our club been in such a sorry state as it is now and it has all happened since Bain arrived! The guy has mucked up our club since he got here, starting with getting rid of Jordan Pickford. We are a club in big trouble and it is all due to Bain.He sold our best players and brought in a useless manager.Get shot of him now.
Stopped reading at the sentence with All in it. you're talking ****e as per. Any moron can see our problems predate Bain by over half a decade. Sack a monkey, the organ grinder just hires another monkey. Learn.
Nobody 'got rid' of Pickford. We were given a lot of money and he deserved to go. Why hold him back? Our problem was that we replaced him with 2 cheapy nasties! Everybody from Short downwards should share some proportion of blame for our plight. Bain's proportion is minimal. He's been asked to put out a blazing towering inferno by pissing on it!
Had we held onto pickford his price would have dropped at least 10m and we'd likely be in the same position we're in now. None of our players are immune from the toxicity of the club. No one is performing. I don' think Baines any kind of genius but he' certainly not to blame. This situation is the conclusion to a decade of short and his morons ****ing our club. Bain is a drop in the ocean.
He's boxing with one if not both hands tied behind his back. He's in the same boat as the Managers too, IMO.
I'm not sure how close you are to financial implosion, but the figures aren't pretty. Without the money for Pickford my guess - and it is just a guess - is that you'd be maybe 10 points better off in the league but going into administration and down anyway, in a worse position financially. The value then of a Championship keeper, threatened with relegation in a club going into administration? £10m would be the top end I would think. Bain was charged with sorting out the financial mess that he inherited. I reckon that if he'd been in a couple of years earlier you'd be better off now, but he's too little, too late.
I agree he should leave. His arrogance and contempt for the fans is reason enough. As for the job he's done well its a ****s job so aptly he's a ****
I feel sorry for Bain. He's in a crappy position where he has to make a silk purse from a sows ear. He's not going to get everything right. The plight of the club are the idiots before him, the misspending, the penny pinching and the lack of shrewd player investment. Ibramovich not bought because of 1k per week. Ruud Gullit ditched because of 250k, Michael Owen not bought because of 2k per week ...then we get Flo, Rodwell, and other muppets
My biggest concern is that whilst most contracts (except Rodwells) were written with a relegation clause to the Championship, are any now written with a relegation clause to the third tier? Anyone know?
