Really worried about next week, fear for everyone involved. Bernie is an absolute joke, all he cares about is money and doesn't give a **** about anyone else as long as his wallet is full.

The teams should no better aswell for allowing this to happen, the country is a warzone yet we are sending the best racing driers in the world to race in a global sport for people around the world to watch on their TV's.

Protesters are apparently going to attend the race and god knows what will happen, not only this but the teams have to get into the country, stay in a hotel for a week and make their way to the circuit. Anything can happen FFS, I have my fingers crossed.

With drawings like the one above?!!!? If the drivers follow I can only commend them on their balls, nothing else. It only takes one person to do a whole world of damage, as you said... the most elite drivers - sportsmen - athletes in the world. Going to Bahrain.
I have seen and heard it all now, Bernie is a bastard.

Then you won't want to know what Joe Saward had to say regarding the meeting Ecclestone had with team bosses today.

Something needs to happen. They can't let this race happen.

Hopefully there will be more talks and the race will get cancelled tomorrow.

If I had family go out there I would not be happy, hell I wouldn't even allow it even if was my own damn father. If one of them died I would sue the **** out of the team, Bernie, Jean Todt, the FIA and any other muther fudda that was involved.

Would you want one of your family members going to a place where bombs, tear gas, live rounds, rubber bullets at eyes are being used?

All we bloody need now is a ****ing mass suicide on Live TV and that will be the end of it...

Along with Finnish MTV3, German and Japanese host broadcasters will not be going to Bahrain next weekend.

Sorry if this bursts anyone's Chinese bubble but then you don't need to read the thread if you're bored with Bahrain.

There's a feeling that the sport will be castigated like never before in the coming week, with editorials in Sunday's papers kicking it off. The Observer appears to dislike F1 in any case and sees the Bahrain issue as a good opportunity to remind everyone that:

Can't argue with that but, as one of the comments puts it:

The Mail on Sunday is similarly coruscating and echoes Max's earlier comments:

Williams have had to make some difficult decisions, according to The Telegraph's Tom Cary.

Apparently so, minus a member of the Williams catering staff. Also Todt won't arrive until Friday, I believe, and Ecclestone will probably leave after qualifying.

F1 is very very "brave" going out there...

Hope everybody gets out alright but my gut is just saying no at the moment...something will happen.

Hoping like everyone else nothing will happen, but if there does it will really be a finger pointing at the FIA and also Ecclestone for the pursuit of money over morals.
