HAAS have shuffled their pit team to fix the problem for Aus. Thats a lot of blame to put on one guy. Must have been Martin Whitmarsh on the gun
The Hass wheel issue seems weird. They claim its the same wheels and nuts as last year but to have 2 failures on different wheels seems unlikely. It seemed like different wheel men so why 2 failures on tried and tested equipment? I wonder if they are using different guns? Hopefully they will have resolved the issue and we can see if Aus was a fluke or they can actually be near the front this time?
listening on 5 live. They have Lord Benson on there. havnt heard him before but you can hear the pain when asked how he felt about Hamilton being half a second behind Ferrari.
lol, I was trying to figure out who Lord Benson was, couldn't have been happy with how scrappy Lewis was in P1 either.
Gasly seems to have managed to do well in the Honda TR! Seems like he was towards the top of the speed traps!!! Hopefully they have some more speed and reliability can come later.
Very true but if Honda have actually managed to improve power to achieve good top speed they are well on the way to a decent PU they just need to solve reliability. No good having reliability without power
Well Hamilton's boned. That kind of throws a wild card into race but i have to back vettel for the win but hope for some fun by the end of the race
so, the first reliability penalty goes to Mercedes, who would've guessed that? I think the Mercedes is faster than we've seen in P1&2, if he doesn't get pole, Hamilton is going to struggle to get on the podium, waiting to see what happens in Q, any of Bottas, Ferrari or RBR could have pole here
