I give you Harrison Reed who wasn’t good enough for Saints but has thrived at Fulham. Given time to mature into a mid table PL player. Don’t always work, but when it does, you end up with an asset worth more than you paid.
We called him the Wotsit, he always looked promising in the U21's but was forever picking up niggling injuries.

Not sure I hold with this changing the thread title lark. We need a new thread, this goes against nature!
New one please mate, there’s a lot hanging on this and this thread is thin and stretched like gossamer. We need a nice thick sturdy bit of bailer twine.
So be it, I bow to peer pressure. Having had a couple of Texels and a good glug of robust red I'll sleep well and get it done tomorrow morning.
On Mara; what makes him look lazy is the fact that he doesn't press, and when he does, he does it at jogging pace. We've been spoiled with the likes Shlong and now Adarma over the last few years regarding this, and seeing a striker who doesn't hound the defenders to the same level is now 'laziness' to us. Added to that is the general expectation of all football fans these days that if a player hasn't made it by the time they are 21, then they are over the hill. Mara needs a loan somewhere, and then it might still be a couple of seasons before he hits his peak.
What the ****! ****ing outrageous that you missed something. Read back a few posts, you'll see a new thread is coming later today. You should change your post to suit.
