Punched above their weight last season, was always going to be tough this season.

How many gone in the sack race in the Prem ?

All about money.
 
Not suprised. Apart from the last 20 minutes when we dropped too deep they were poor.

Only Swansea have been worse at the CCS this season.

This is mental IMO, they were finger tips away from a draw yesterday, would he have keep his job then?

They've won at utd and were robbed of a deserved victory at Chelsea. He would have kept them up IMO, who's going to replace him?

As a head coach did he buy the players?
Whoever spent 6mill on Evertons reserve striker deserves the boot but I don't think that will have been Clarkes decision.

They have to get someone better now, any chance they'll be looking at MM?
 
Steveo, the baggies have a director of football who overseas player purchases. The baggies over-performed last season and had Luka-whatever banging in the goals. It will be interesting to see who they bring in.
 
If it wasn't Clarke's decision, or at least he has the final say, then I doubt Malky will want to go to club that operates that policy.

I said after watching Brom take on the Jacks at the Hawthorns earlier in the season that if Clarke can get that rabble that Swansea made look like a pub team into some sort of order, he'd deserve a medal. They were clueless that day and much the same again yesterday. I'd go as far as to say we were probably lucky they were.

If Malky goes, and I think he will, I reckon his next appointment will be in East London. Sullivan and Gold won't want to be where they are right now at the sharp end of the season. Allardyce wont be cut any slack. He has some very good players at the club and they're underperforming - much more of this and he'll be gone.

Not sure what the right answer to that is Stevo to be honest.

Put it this way. Their next two Prem games are against Man U and Arsenal - doubt they'll get much return there. Then straight after Christmas they've got West Brom, Fulham and us at the CCS. If they're adrift when they come here, Malky could well be in the away dugout for that one.

On the other hand, the way things seem to be with Tan, if we're down there as well, Malky could be looking for a job anyway.
 
I don't think Tan will sack MM before Feb if at all.

Yesterday was a massive result but I don't believe our owner is an idiot. He knows all this investment working depends on PL status, as long as MM looks more likely to keep us up than not then he'll have a job IMO.

We are only 3 points away from being halfway towards the magic 40 and whilst January is going to be a tough old month at least we clear a load of tough fixtures in one go and can concentrate on putting a run together after.
 
Betting is Big Sam will be next to go, then Hughton.

Not good being in the bottom 6 or 7
 
Hmmm, both could be attractive to Malky.

I know some think otherwise but I wouldn't want him to go. He has a job with us that needs seeing through and he showed yesterday that he can put out a more attacking team if needed. Pity Corney didn't come on for the last 15/20 though.
 
I'm confident if MM stays for the season we'll be a PL side next season.

If he leaves then I'd be very worried, the replacement would have to be able to play a very similar style to keep us up with the current squad.
 
Levy looked tamping. Spurs were terrible!

He'd be top of my list for next to go.

There's no way Spurs would look at Malky.
 
Michael Laudrup is 6/1 fav to be next Spurs manager, with AVB at odds of 5/4 to be next PL manager to go.
