What does it matter if they do, you don´t honestly expect McNally to let him go do you, and actually if they, or anyone else, do happen to come knocking, it will almost certainly only reinforce McNally´s opinion that keeping him is the right option.
regardless of the manager the team is building momentum now..... stick with it, change = major overhaul, i dont see any cure in this only building on what we have. new centre backs a must TBH
But hasn't Hughton sorted out the defense? At least that was what a number of people have said of last seasons miraculous escape from relegation. Bah!
Not only boring. The incessant sniping, constant emphasis on shortcomings, and posturing with imaginary "targets" which supposedly "must be met if CH is to survive" is pointless. No wonder posters such as superman have given up.
agreed. or at least have it on one thread. hopefully superman will return robbie, would be a big shame if he doesn't
Watford haven't come close to replicating their form from last season, whether that's his fault or not I don't know (don't follow them too closely), so if he's left because he's failing then I can't see WBA wanting him.
Add the fact that when he was at West Ham, what is he most remembered for? His football? His results? How shabbily he was treated by West Ham?
This managerial merry-go-round really is getting ridiculous. One solution is to ban managerial replacement during the season, which I think is the case in Italy. This would also mean clubs introducing the Director of Football-plus-Chief Coach system, which I am in favour of. It produces stability in terms of long term football strategy and team building while the coach concentrates on the here-and-now on-field stuff. (We've discussed this before so I'm not really trying to start a debate on it.) As far as the current situation in the PL goes, any club which sacks its manager without having a cast-iron replacement lined up is bonkers IMO.
"What a load of bollocks" You can quote me on that, the rest of your comments enclosed in speechmarks however is just made up. Unlike my own, which is totally true.
I wonder if you'd be saying that if we were bottom of the league and 5 points adrift. Stability is only any use if you have the right person in charge.
Sorry, what I mean't was saying stability is only any use if the right man is in charge which was the real point.
