Off out now with the grandchildren so will not be able to look in.

Fingers crossed we get a win

A few good late chances from West Brom. At this stage, we need to be saved by the bell. Whenever the ball is in our penalty area, we look so nervy. Walton made a good low save earlier. Before that, one of their lads flashed a shot narrowly wide on the turn in the box.

We’ve not been able to control the match. They’ve had the better opportunities - not often we’ve said that this season, but there you go. A disjointed, laboured first half performance from us.

West Brom have just gone seven hours without conceding - an impressive stat considering what they were like earlier in the season. Aside from a golden chance missed from Azon - surprise, surprise - we’ve barely laid a glove on them.

Looks like we’re going to have to try and win ugly. Not a great first half performance again.

If, and it's a big if, we get promoted, I think we will be one of the worst teams to ever get promoted to the Prem.

It's just about getting over the line, if we can somehow win this, then fantastic, thank feck we have money!!

Ropey start to this second half too. West Brom look so much more up for this. Almost as if they’re the ones looking to clinch second in the table.

So many poor performances from our lads out there. Only Walton and Furlong really emerging with any credit. Kipre has been awful. Midfield has been completely overrun. No attacking player has done anything - Mehmeti and Azon in particular have been dreadful.

Need some changes on 55 minutes at this rate.

Jack Clarke this time missing a brilliant opportunity to break the deadlock. Completely misses the ball from close range. Substitutes now Kieran!

Kipre with a goal rightly disallowed for offside. Philogene takes aim from range but keeper spills it.

Better since Philogene and Nunez have come in, but would like to see a couple more attacking subs.

Time for the old guard. Hirst replaces Azon and Burns - back from injury - on for McAteer.

0-0 and we’re a point closer to promotion. We now need to beat either Southampton away or QPR at home to guarantee second. Certainly achievable, but it did feel like we lost a bit of focus and confidence today. On another day, we could’ve lost that game in the first half.

Fair play to West Brom - I knew they were in good form but wasn’t aware of their defensive record. Can see how they kept so many clean sheets lately - very well organised side. They just lacked that composure up top to finish their chances.

We had opportunities to win it in the second half, which was an improved performance. But we struggled to break them down.

At least my £48 ticket to Portman Road next Saturday looks like it’ll have some drama riding on it.
