Leaving aside the inevitable mid thred spat, I actually agree with most of the comments about BAE - both good and bad.
How can I agree with both views? He is a tad arrogant but then he has coped with the forwards of most other teams that we've played with relative ease (whilst still appearing to be slightly arrogant).
That makes me question the tactics / team talk. Surely anyone knows that if Ings or Vokes is on your tail, the mantra must be 'get rid of the ball as quickly and safely as possible' because they are better than most of the attack we've had at LR this season.
Personally I don't blame anyone. It's a team game. BAE might have afforded Ings and Vokes slightly more respect than he did. Had he done so, we might possibly have won the game with the home advantage but, from the highlights (wedding so could not go), they might have nicked it too.
Daylight between us and them would have been great but we ares still in front!!

I was in the loft, and his problems were mainly at the school end....but it looked as though he lost his footing several times during that horrid period of rain and wind.

Haha! I know!.....was quite excited when I looked at the thread this morning and saw 40-odd posts. Oh well, all fun and games.
Read the thread properly. One of our most consistent and best players is frankly not saying much considering he is now gracing the Championship yet clearly believes he should be in the Champions League. The views are varied as one would expect but consistent about one thing - attitude. It's been a pretty balanced thread. Some are inclined to forgive him, some like me are not. I'm not saying he should be dropped but he should certainly be given a massive kick up the backside. You of all contributors should be wary of accusations of slagging off consistent and best players. Or do you suffer from short-term memory loss as much as anyone else?
He was poor but he was not alone. All our back four were given a torrid time by Burnley. Onohua was clearly at fault for their second and yet I don't see the lynch mob out for him. And Hill and Dunne regularly lost their men which is very unusual.
Personally I'm hoping that it was a combination of Burnley's attacking prowess and tricky conditions that caused us to have an aberration at the back. It certainly would be ironic if our defence started to crumble just when we have discovered some notion of more direct and effective attacking play.

COL says it was Dunne's fault
Onohua gave their winger so much space he could have had a picnic and still had time for the cross. He seemed to be waiting for Barton to come back and cover him for some reason. I'm sure Col is right and the marking in the box was also poor. It was for much of the game.
BTW your usual bickering has spoiled what should have been a good thread about the game yesterday. Please stop.
It was actually Hoilett that was more at fault but Onohua was totally out of position too. I'd say 80% Hoilett and Onuoha and 20% Dunne.

Yorkie, with the greatest of respect but Adel Taarabt and consistency are the last words you should be using together if you're attempting to hit anything on the head, let alone something as small as a nail.
Let's just disagree and leave it at that. I'm glad you see the irony of Queenie jumping in feet first to the defence of a player he clearly rates very highly and believes is the intended victim of a lynch mob without bothering to respond to the criticisms of his play. Now when have we seen that phenomenon before? Yep. You got it in one.
I love his ball control, passing ability and pace but he's so laid back that he's always got a mistake in him. Plus when he gets beat, he's got a tendency to wander back rather than use his pace. Overall, I'm very glad to have him but I wish Harry could wave his magic wand and help him overcome these niggling faults.
I don't think any of our back four will be happy with their performances. They were all well below their standard for this season, with the meanest defence in the league. However they got off, kinda. They'll know we should have had 3pts after scoring 3 goals. C'est la vie. Move on, it could have been worse - good grit to come back.
