Superman, I have had exactly the same done to me, fractured cheekbone plus fractured eye socket so please don't preach to me about that type of injury. But the way you lot are blinkered that every decision against you needs a FA enquiry is a joke, there was no way it was deliberate, vaughan jump in from behind Tamas (if he came from the side i might have agreed with you). All this whinging and excuse finding is doing your club no favours because being in the premier league everything is intensivefied. According to you lot, out of 4 games you have had 4 crap refs. Do you really expect us to believe that crap.

I call them as i see them, not too many complaints about the pen at Stamford Bridge but the other 3 were laughable decisions.... We have to score at least 2 goals every game if we want to come away with a win..

You obviously have not seen all our games and as that is the case, how can you possibly comment on them? We have seen them, all 90-95 minutes of them and every game has had very controversial decisions go against us. These is not excuses, like it or not it is a fact.

well then seeing as you sustained an even worse injury than myself, you must surely see that what tamas did yesterday was scandalous and has no place on a football field or anywhere for that matter. please watch a video of it - vaughan DOES NOT jump - he is merely standing there. i witnessed tamas turn his head, look away and then thump his elbow straight into his face with venom. how you can defend it is stupidity at its best. having seen all four games this season there is no question that we have been on the wrong end of some very bizarre officiating in each and every game. every single controversial decision has gone against us. that tells you everything you need to know, as well as the reactions of pundits who feel we have been harshly treated thus far. its easy for fans to be biased in these situations but this is a genuine gripe we have. have a read of this...

    Supers you are right!

At first I couldn't see what Tamas had done wrong but the replays clearly showed that he looked round first before shoving his elbow into Vaughan's face. It was a clear straight red for violent conduct and I hope the FA review the video evidence and ban the player for his disgusting actions. To blame Halsey for not taking action may be a tad harsh becuase in REAL time it would have been hard to spot and I don't know exactly what view the ref had of the incident. Knowing Halsey if he had seen it Tamas would have been sent off and a penalty awarded. We can all be wise with hindsight!

My pet hate in Football is the overall standard of Refs and the way they are protected by the Authorites even when they cock it up and there are no reasonable excuses for him to get the decisions wrong. Our problem is that our players have only had 4 games to learn how to con a penalty. Having looked at the replays there was little difference in the contact of a couple of penalty shouts we had and the penalty they got - the only difference was that our players stumbled to the ground theirs went down as if his legs had been swept away. Something else we have got to quickly learn along with not tackling in the box unless you are certain to get the ball, not making defensive errors and getting shots on target on the few occassions you get the chance. In fairness to Halsey, who was dreadful, I don't think he saw the elbow on Vaughan. I had a good view of that area of the pitch and didn't see anything at the time but, and it is a very big but, was anything blocking the view of the Linesman?

Superman, you are being over dramatic. Things like happen in every game, I saw the incident on TV, with replays and it never happened as described in your dramatic overtones.

As for all this whinging about every controversial decision going against you, I didn't hear any complaints when 90% of the decisions where going for you last season?

The big problem in the standard of the referee debate is that they are subjected to the most intense scrutiny by so called pundits who have the benefit of replays from every concievable angle. The referee has only one view and a second to make a decision without the benefit of endless slow mo replays. The decision he makes can only be given on what he see's and how he interprits the laws of the game. There are bad referees and we see them every week but at the same time it is a bloody difficult job (I know I am one!) and its only too easy to just blame the ref.

The worst refereeing performance I have seen recently has to be that idiot Dutch referee that officiated in the Scotland game last week. Now he was poor and incompetent and should never be given a high profile game like that again!

warky, if halsey didn't see it he didn't see it. quite how his assistant couldn't see it is another thing but i happily admit its a tough job to referee having done so myself (rarely). its the inconsistency though which grates so much... tiny little tap on the legs in our box equates to a penalty and a dreadful elbow causing serious injury gets nothing! its not right.

thats the first time i've seen an incident as bad as that for about 20 years at carrow road so don't talk ****e. also, this total and utter drivel about things going our way. can you prove we got 90% of decisions last season? what does that even mean?! you are making stuff up because that is your blinkered view of my team at present, but you really do talk the most god-awful bollocks sometimes. i can think of two truly controversial decisions last year that went our way and i'd say one that went against us.

I can frankly say that is the biggest load of bollocks i have ever wasted my time to read. As a fellow Referee he has only made the job worse and given the 'smaller clubs' a reason to bleat on about unfairness.

    Supers

It would have been hard for his assistant to see it through a crowd of players in the box. <ok>

The FA I am sure will review the footage and take the appropriate action eventhough this wont change the result!

What with all the extra minutes somehow found?

dubious penalty awards by the plenty by little taps in the box?

As is always said, these things even themselves out so there is little point in bleating about them. But it does seem strange that as soon as a few go against you the refs are all crap!

Be men and except them, not just cry like a bunch of 5 year olds not getting your own way.

warky, thank god you are capable of holding down a sensible conversation! its a miracle guru can even watch football through those bitter eyes and twisted lashes!! i agree that action will be taken against tamas - and quite rightly. not that it helps us but at least its a good result for football at the end of the day. we simply can't allow players to get away with that sort of thing.

Guru, if you cannot be constructive without resorting to taking the level down a few notches then please do not bother. It looks like you are on a personal crusade to irritate or antagonize.

Not being funny superman, but we had about 4 in one game against peterborough, but we were more concerned about our own shortcomings than trying to find a scapegoat. You have previous, just look at the reading game last year, a bad decision and its like the first day at nursery with the tantrums.
