Steed Malbranque has retired less than a month after joining St Ettienne #SAFC


Steed was the reason why we have Gelson Fernandes.

Gelson's loan deal relied on Steed signing for St Ettienne.


Hope they havn't got an option to recall him!!

His club dont want him thats why he was on loan last season to Cheivo. We have a view to a permanent move aswell so i doubt they have a recall clause

It depends on what type of loan it is. They want rid so there probaly wont be a recall clause but short term loans will have re call clause in them

Yes but the whole deal (Fernandes to LCFC) revolved around whether or not Steed Malbranque would sign for St Ettienne.

I think they must be short on centre midfielders.

I thik we signed him on loan with a fee involved and an option to buy at he end of the loan period. If this is the case he cannot be recalled
