Agriculture gave a return of 50pts the bank now stands at 996pts. As of Saturday 1st of oct the point bets will be increased to 25pts ew. This is because i feel that this is going to be a long drawn out thing. So i want to try and double my points bank faster or lose it all faster.
So far i have had a total of 10 runners 1 winner 3 places and 6 no shows.
 
He's cool returned 75pts but i ended the the day 75pts down

Fallers backed 13
wins 1
places 4
no shows 8
will put up Sundays fallers later
 
If you find a betting system that works, and takes very little effort, like this one then my advice would be to keep quiet. I've been gambling on horse's since I was 12, and I've tried hundreds of different systems, and whilst some have paid well short term, I've always come unstuck long term, so I don't believe there is any system that will actually guarantee long term profit.

The only way you will make long term profit on the horse's, is if you are a very good judge and you are prepared to put the effort in reading form. Lazy gamblers never win, and you must have alot of self control, betting for the sake of betting, or chasing losses on races you are uncertain over, is what catches out the amateur gambler:biggrin:
 
Shergar.Since classed as an amateur gambler and lazy i will close this thread. Since your a pro gambler how much income tax did you pay last year,just a ball park figure will do ,either before or after expences.

Thats rich coming from you shergar, i remember on the old 606 with your shoo-ins... if they all come unstuck then an hour later you would after time saying you had a winner to make back what you lost on your shoo-ins, surely thats chasing your losses..no?

Provided you are happy to keep it going Islander, you keep it going. It is interesting that you haven't lost it all by now, so many of us are fascinated to see what happens over a longer term. Don't let Shergar put you off. It's his opinion and he's probably right but there are enough on here interested to see how it goes. I'm sure you could refine it to make it more profitable. Are you recording enough info to analyse and refine later? eg In general, is there anything in particular about those that produce a return and those that don't?

What about extending it to those old rogues who have been pulled up on previous outings.

I'm sure we all remember Bleu Superb who carried the form figures at one stage,from Feb '01 to Nov '03 of;

P13PF3P11PP11PPPP1 resulting in 9 pulled up's in 18 outing's but a bounce back price of 8/1,6/1,8/1 and 8/1 on four occasions.

Danedream beat Night Magic by 6l with Joshua Tree and Maria Royal 7l back in 3rd and 4th

(Settled in 2nd, 3 lengths behind leader, travelled smoothly through final turn, cruised into lead 2f out, soon went clear, extended advantage all the way to finish, easily).

She was receiving 12lb and 9lb from the 4yos JT and MR/NM

Difficult to assess the form as the 2 Irish horses are not up to much but she beat them easily.

As far as improvement is concerned, her previous run was also against Night Magic who she beat a similar margin but receiving 12lb.

Not sure how that constitutes rapid improvement.

When a filly wins that easily it's impossible to know how she would have faired against stiffer opposition. Personally I don't think the bare form is good enough for an Arc.

Is this the same prpo gambler who said that he would never bet on Sizing Europe to win the QMCC, then when he won stated that he would never back the horse in the future only to back him at the weekend? They must be the new, lightweight, plastic goalposts you keep moving Shergar!!

Could have a winner tomorrow Islander; Natural Action 3.50 Huntingdon. (7/2 WH). Fell last time out at the last when going well. Previous outing he won with tomorrow's jockey up. Guaranteed to stay. Main danger, Spock (15/8f), might find this a little too far.
 
Sizing Europe....Despite strongly opposing Sizing Europe at Cheltenham, I still had a 50% strike rate, having 7 winners from 14 bets advised as Shoo in's on 606, I think you will agree that is some going, particularly when the Racing is so competitive.

I do not recall saying I would never back Sizing Europe, though I did advise that Big Zeb would reverse form at Punchestown which he did. Obviously I would never say I will never back a certain horse, as you never know what sort of race they may be running in. I certainly won't be backing Sizing Europe in Ireland this season, if he comes up against either Golden Silver or Big Zeb, as both have had his measure on more than one occasion away from Cheltenham:biggrin:

Whoops, fell again. 6/1, might be an even bigger price next time
