    How about a completely black banner but with a 5mm blue circle indented from the left by say 43 pixels ?

    37 pixels ?

    No 43pixels

    And then a giant magenta sex toy with the words Swords embossed into the shaft ... A sort of negative version of the famous Velvet Underground

    What about the flags as background, no QPR logo or badge, left to right montage Jim Gregory, Marsh, Bowles, Macca, Tarbs, Tony F. Past to present, not too many heads.

    Just had a look at some of the banners on the other boards on not606. Chelsea's is predictably rubbish, Arsenal's even worse, Fulham's poor too. Man U probably is the best in my opinion even though it's very simple. Much like the Jim Gregory to Tony Fernandes idea put forward above.

    I agree. If you click on the QPR board you don't need the name occupying space, surely you should already know where you are.
