I think Grayson did a good job. I believe the board totally demoralised him and that filtered through to the squad the same way as Kevin Blackwell. Ok both made bloomers but neither got any real backing in their final season.
I believe Grayson got the best out of the squad he had.
Warnock is trying to play a different system which isn't working straight away, but he's making all the right noises which if it brings things too a head regarding expenditure on the squad in the summer has got to be better for the supporters and the club.
If the fans are feeling pissed off with spending so much money on ST how do you think the corporates feel.
How many advertisers do we have around the ground ?
How long did it take to get a shirt sponsor ?
People aren't queuing up to throw money at the club are they.
Pressure needs to be put on the Leeds board of Directors now.
Bates is aggravating not only fans but business people trading through or club.
As iv'e already stated Warnock's putting on the pressure at his end lets all support that and put pressure on from the stands and outside the ground.
Write to the press stating our concerns talk to friends get them to join Leeds United Supporters Trust.
Lets all talk as one and stand as one.
 
JLA: As I've already told Roz I'm sick of certain posters on ja606 and do seem to spend less time on there these days. I'm not going to name names but there's a hell of a lot of Muppet's on that site who are just not worth the time of day.
 
I do believe if we had kept Grayson we would be in a higher position than we are now, I always said he was the right man for the job at that moment in time. I also believe NW is a better manager and it worries me that Bates sacked Grayson when it was too late for any manager to do anything with the inherited crop.

I am left confused as to why Bates snapped up Warnock when Bates shows so little ambition, I am worried that after the meeting between the two Warnock will walk away when he finds out he hasn't a financial pot large enough to piss in. Warnock has brought two players in, both have been pretty impressive all things considered and I have to agree, he is making all the right noises.

Let us hope that come next season we have Warnock in charge and he has been given some money to spend, if not I hate to think who we might have in charge next and what they will be expected to get out of the inherited team minus a Clayton and Snodgrass who will refuse to sign new contracts and will be cashed in by Bates before the season starts.
 
When he was talking to the fans at the gates on Friday, someone asked NW how much money Bates had to make available.

He put his hand over the camera and said 'Bugger All' so sounds like he's already aware he's going to be working on a shoestring.

Don't be so sure. I had him so riled he wanted to take me out at a match. He was looking for a "spanish looking guy with long curly black hair". I have no idea where he got his description from, but if he and his security guards lamped someone looking like that, they got the wrong guy! <laugh> He thinks he is clever because mummy and daddy gave him a casino to run and he employs other people, so he thinks he knows how to run a business, and that Ken Bates is a great guy! Tuscany is just a complete fake.

With the exception of Joe, none of them appear willing or able to have a civilized exchange of opinions. I hope I am not tempted to post there again.

fans do get brain washed. it's the only way they'd still believe bates drivel.

We now have conclusive proof that he's a lying **** though, the quote about the season ticket figures is there for all the world to see.
