It's more the context it is being used rather than what he done though. Another time, another owner and it could have been written differently, "owner joins in fans disappointment shows club solidarity from lowly fan right up to the top brass" but that wouldn't create much mileage. He is the firing line, and people are firing and asking questions later. We will have to get used to this till another headline comes along.
I agree context is everything but he surely was aware that he is media target number 1 at the moment and they will be seeking any opportunity to make some news. Therefore surely he should just keep a lower profile unless he has an alternative motive or he is just stupid or he couldn't give a damn. Probably the latter!
This is Tan we are talking about Glamexile, doubt he gave it a thought, personally I think he thought it might gain him some favour, be like one of the boys type of thing. I suspect he might regret it now, or is wondering what on earth the press are on about suggesting he would boo his own team.
As I've said Lip readers I don't think that Tan was booing just showing his frustration at a last minute goal. DJ got heavily criticised because of this lack of passion, it's either one or the other. For me I'd prefer to see Tan showing his frustrations and passions, shows he is only human just like the rest of us.
I watched the game, and was astonished when 5 minutes was added, remember this happening to us in our first season and I think the ref didn't blow until 6 minutes when the other team finally got the goal, I really do question the motives of some of these referees, but then you don't know what garbage the boys on the field have been throwing the Refs way throughout the game...........................
Not that obvious given that he used upper case for 'GLAM' and came out all guns blazing at me earlier.
If think if you look who I quoted you would know but saying that, not sure if you've got that much brains too know. Go away in small jerking movements you sad ****
I really can't understand why VT wants to go through a court case and airing more dirty laundry. Pay MM what is due and move on. He got CC into the PL and deserves a pay off. Let him get on with his career and CC can move onward. The best thing that can happen for CC is to get Tan out of the limelight...it's not good PR for Cardiff. The guy is only out to build his profile...which is one of a twit at the moment. Thankfully it won't do Welsh football's global reputation too much harm as Swansea are still seen as the leading Welsh club on a global basis....which is likely to be the situation for some years to come, as CC will need some time to develop a real footballing ethos.
I would hardly describe my comments as vile just an honest opinion on how I though VT should behave in the light of the media circus that is obviously taking place.
There is only one club creating news worldwide and it is not Swansea, it is never dull at Cardiff so we get all the publicity. The big story now is who will be the next manager of Cardiff not who will be the next manager of West Brom. We have people posting here more than on their own forum because nothing ever happens on their forums worth posting about. jck
It's always been so, we used to be loaded down with Leeds fans, but it seems they have other worries.
keep believing that and you'll be able to sleep easily tonight . Yes we'd rather be you right now ,fair play .
