The strange thing is.... When I read down this thread, the reply from Farsley had me scratching my head... At first I thought he was saying to hemase, "Who are you knobhead?" it wasn't until my 2nd or 3rd read over it all that I realised he was entering his caption competition entry. It hasn't even been a long day so I haven't an excuse
I hit it twice last week about Mike after I was specifically told to by minxy when she involved herself in our spat... Its all on the board somewhere. The irony was that the other supermod then kicked off because i had done as minxy requested and had to apologise. Things seem to have calmed down in respect of Mike and me and I dont want to reopen them so perhape whatever warning and advice was issued did the job. Like quite a few here I am not happy about a number of things that have gone over recent days and weeks...

Maybe its just me, but Im not as bothered about who went running to the teacher but what happened afterwards. Ill narrow it down a bit for those interested. This is what happens when the person isn't man enough to step forward, everyone will have a suspicion as to who it is, some might be right and others like me so very wrong
It bothers me to think that someone can complain about a post and the poster gets banned over something that cannot be considered offensive. Far worse is said on here and the comments weren't even aimed at anyone, just a caption competition. Something Glory has said and now you in this post Eire makes a lot of sense... As you pointed out I didn't know about it, to my shame I pointed a finger at Leeds60 and in hindsight I don't believe he looks in on these kind of threads. So the culprit obviously looks in/knows about/participates in the "caption competition" maybe? Oh and you left out hermes, it wasn't him either
Can I just clarify, that the poster who reported the caption NEVER expected a supermod to intervene and ban Hermes and that was never the intention. The poster just wanted to bring attention to the particular post as he has a family member who happens to suffer from tourettes and didnt find it particularly tasteful as tourettes gets enough micky taking as it is. The same said poster will remain anonymous as he fears he will be treated like a 'leper' for causing all this when it was not intended. Look at the flawed system before we hang one of our own I would like to add And yes, I do have a son with tourettes and no, it wasnt me, my son wouldnt have found it ofensive either he hates chelsea and Terry!
