Where this place is falling apart is the amount of times stuff is being done by pm. Has no one got the balls anymore to put the info out in the open and let everyone have their say. Its becoming too much like a classroom bullshit environment for my liking. This is likely my last day here if there isnt a serious turnaround. And forget pm'ing me anyone. Anyone got anything to say, this is the place to say it

100% agreed thats was he point I was making with the openess thread. I refused to interact with the supermods by PM when they wanted to... nothing to hide... no need to do it...

I don’t know to be honest If I did, I don’t know if I would tell you but saying I don’t know will still eliminate certain posters. I just re-read the openness thread from start to finish. El mentions PMs flying about I assume that’s only in relation to us having it out with the supermods? If not its nothing I know about and El tends to copy me in on most if not all mails.
Thats exactly my point. Theres more pm's obviously about posters here than probably posts at this stage. Not something that can continue. Either everything is going to be open here or its a waste of time. I trust our own mods but not these other god like creatures with wings you all seem so concerned about
El and I have had to PM the supermods to get a banned over turned. Thats not something that should, or can play out in the public eye. Thats whats being going on recently
What a load of garbage. If a football club is only as important as it's fans, surely a forum is only as important as it's members? What has gone on here is akin to Bates wielding his banning orders. This thread is designed to attract controversial captions and what hemase came up with was amusing at worst. I know he nearly left the Forum a couple of weeks ago when Chippy was threatened with a ban and, if I were in his shoes I am not sure I would bother after this. I think Bucks and Elland know I admire the work they do to make this such a great hobby (and that is what it is) for all of us whether prolific posters or less so like myself. I commented when Chippy nearly walked away that this would die without some of the best posters. El corrected me and said all posters are equal but I disagree, there is a core of really good, witty people on here and if they start to walk away I honestly believe this will sink. Frankly, couldn't give a t0$$ if I get banned but I think the Super Mods and the person that complained need to take a long hard look at themselves - you are legends in your own lunchtimes only and risk ruining this for everyone. The person who complained needs to grow some balls and own up and explain what was so offensive and not rely on Bucks and El to protect them (why should they have to?). LL and I don't seem to hit it off by I would never dream of hitting the report button on any of his posts but what is stop people doing that over what amounts to nothing? If something offends you that much, debate the point or stop reading - it really is that easy.
They need to be man enough and step forward and admit it was them with a reason... It could be something simple like they have a family member who suffers with it or it could be JT's mother, either way it would be understandable. You can't just go reporting posts without having a reason, we might not agree why but then we all have differing opinions on most things. Whoever it was step forward and please explain why the post offended you, otherwise when the truth DOES eventually come out do not expect anyone to have any respect for you. EDIT*** Sorry I was writing this and trying to word it correctly then after posting I saw my own thoughts were echoed a few minutes earlier.
Whoever it was, by that simple action of hitting complain, asked the supermods to look at the thread. If you don't want them to intervene on this board, don't invite them to - simple as!!
I had my own suspicion as to who it was, clicking on Hemase's profile and looking at his most recent comments and posts places my suspect as odds on favourite.
But without it being in the public eye thanks to pearl and the attentions of one of the more strident posters here this would probably not have been made public and the ban would have stood.....
There's been a sea change in super mods abandoning their own laid down procedure but **** knows why. For all their huffing and puffing last week quoting us the procedure and then ignoring it, then we got the 'we're thinking of quitting' performance yet again. The irony is atm they won't be missed for what they've done recently so the sooner they resign the better and I bet I'm not the only one thinking along those lines! This regime is starting to resemble FIFA where the whole lot need to be binned off!!
just read Hemase's post again. I didn't give him the credit he was due. I think it was hilarious. Btw, let me state clearly that I never hit the complain button. All please feel free to make similar declarations. I'm sure our mods will ban anyone who lies.

Better still let's just point fingers... I think it was Leeds60 so if he wishes to come on here and say it wasn't him then I will openly apologise to him and withdraw my suspicion.
