True, may want to make as much money as quickly as possible I guess. Mind you, if he gets £50/£60k per week here (when you include all the goals bonus's, appearance fee's etc) then if he stayed for 3 years he'd be set up for life by the time he was about 28/29.

I really cant see him going, no doubt Cisse would of spoke to him about Newcastle and I cant imagine Ba saying "yeah you should sign but I will be leaving soon" not exactly a deal clincher. In regards to Krul as mentioned the only benefit of him moving would be to further his international chances, but he is already getting recognition from Holland so going to be No2 at Spurs would hinder rather than help his chances, IF we can build on what we have a get in to Europe then thats the platform our star players need so shouldnt need to go anywhere else.

You bought Ba because Pardew has more sense than anyone else, anyone who bothered to watch him for 15mins while he was at West Ham could see that he oozed class. As to whether he'll stay or not, maybe atm he might, but I suggest you look at how he left Germany to answer that one, he has ambition, enjoy him while you can.

But, even with only one knee he'd be probably perform better than Carroll is at the moment!! Does anyone know what the supposed issue is with his knee(s)?
