He was getting a bit of a tow off Russell to get him out of the drop. But since he was dawdling on his out lap to let Russell passed, he might get in a bit of bother.
When horner was interviewed it seems like Max thought he was going to get a tow from Perez. Horner was suggesting that max was supposed to tow Perez! Not a consistent message. I think Horner is, once again, saying he will support who ever is in front but doing something different. Not a shock that he is supporting Max, but he should be up front about it.

I'd expected the merc to struggle more here but bottas and kmag were nowhere. The mclarens did as expected struggle.big time but the baby ferraris didn't show up.
