They have a pretty full scrapheap, that's for sure. Never like the way they openly destroy young drivers. It must be a pretty difficult environment to try succeed in.

Think I made that sound once upon a time during an unfortunate zipper accident.

Funny but if you look closely you can see the F1 overlaid over another event.

Think it's meant to be a joke. Looks like one of the England fan events from the last world cup. :)

I agree it does look like a fun joke, just didn't know if anyone would think it was real :)

It’s a common video meme guys- they overlay loads of things over what was originally the England World Cup semi final goal v Croatia.

Mixed feelings after that weekend, as a self confessed Hamilton fans. It was gutting to see him throw those points away, but it's great for an exciting championship. Plus, with Max's very unfortunate and undeserved luck, it was not the worst weekend for a mistake. I think if Verstappen hadn't emerged from the last three races ahead, it would have been hard to see him winning the title.

The last three races were (IMO) RB tracks and I can see the next four or five races swinging much more heavily towards Merc. I'm hoping that that won't suck the fun out of things. I do find the last three tracks a little boring from a racing perspective - anyone know how many overtakes there were on the track in the last race? Lots of drama, but didn't feel like tons of racing.

Looking like a brilliant battle between McClaren and Ferrari for third too, which is great.

I do find it sad that this sport seems to bring out so much personal animosity towards drivers that one doesn't support. I've seen a lot of that online since Sunday. It's perfectly possible to support Ham and think Max (or Lando, and others) is a brilliant driver and would be a worthy champion. Same the other way round etc.

I think this is slightly premature. He's had a tough start to the season, but he's shown he can be a brilliant #2 and I think he's aware that he's treated broadly equally by the team. I'd be hesitant to rock the boat too far if I was Merc and if he delivers in the next four races, all of which are more Merc friendly tracks, I wouldn't be shocked to see Merc retain him. A few 1-2s in the next few races and everything will look very different.

I think he has been told he is out .

Toto threw him under a bus after Monaco.

I hope you're wrong and I don't think this would be smart from Merc. If he's out, better to demote him now and promote GR. Zero help having a completely demotivated driver.

    I agree 100%

as many know , I have supported him for ages , but even I think his time is up at merc . I like to think that Toto is loyal and won’t drop him mid season , but I’m not so sure now . I wonder if Mr Inneos is applying pressure ?

All of the internet goes down, but Twitter somehow stays up. Like a cockroach surviving a nuclear explosion. I lurk on here, and pleased to say most on here are pretty respectful.

It's nuts out there. So many partisan fans who's first instinct is to go to insults and childish behavior. Even places like WTF1, that historically was nice light hearted and comical look at F1 is now a cesspit. Hence why I'm always happy to be here.

Not sure why F1 brings out the worst in people, or maybe it's just a case of the ugly voices are the loudest in general.
