Ayew was a dream of mine too after seeing him in the World Cup and saying on here way back then we should be after him .When we got him on the free I was pinching myself for an entire season .
I got a ibit defensive to PGWhite saying he doesn't belong on the wing but eventually got in line with his thoughts .
I also think a bit of shine will come off his game at West Ham .
Real team player , that I'm sure of ,and a rare quality in top players .
Best wishes on and off the pitch , quality man and player IMO

Obviously a quality player that just didn't fit with us. Not a winger and not as good as Siggy (feel like I've said this a million times lately to justify his sale) and isn't as good as Payet either so I don't quite understand West ham buying him but there we go.

Ash's sale will hurt today too. I may have been a bit harsh saying we will play better without him as I said that before seeing his stats. Amazing stats that rightly put him up there with the best.

We don't know how we will do with out Ash there as he has started nearly every game since he has been here. Maybe we will be better, who knows. But we move on and look forward to who we will now bring in.

I've heard a few grumbles over the past few seasons about Williams , mostly because we held Williams to a different standard .And although when a player leaves and it hurts fans , we all know that player was a legend to the team and once a legend .............
Williams and Fernandez were as good as any pairing in the Premier last season IMO .
I feel a massive opening appearing for a young CB , I think Van Der Hoorn might be the one who squeezes through .

I've never seen him play so can't comment on his quality but I hope he can fill the void. Think with Llorente and the new CB pairing we should do better defensively from set plays and thats a big plus for me.

Hopefully the move will be good for the Ash and us. Like I said the other day, Guido needs his own stamp on the team and may have thought (like I did) that Ash hasn't got long left so bed a new pairing in this season.

    We'll see

Fer won't hurt our set piece problems .
Guidolin said he was going to deal with set pieces problems and I feel he has with signings
    We'll see ...

We'll miss Ash's organisation of the back 4 immensely, along with his consistency. It will be a big task to fill his boots..

Personally I'm not too bothered about losing Ayew, especially for £20 mill. We tried to fit him in, but he unbalanced the team for most of the season.
Was he a winger? We've got a proper winger in Dyer back, hopefully like a new signing.
Was he a striker? We've got a proper striker in Llorente with the goal machine from Atletico also in the pipeline.
Was he a number 10? He was not as good as Siggy

    A tidy player? Yes
    Brilliant? Occasionally
African player of the Year in 2011. I never saw it.

It's easier to replace one CB than two and if Williams had stayed then thats the position we may have found ourselves in , Ash has only one or two seasons left imo and the decline is already evident . If he stayed it's highly likely that Amat would look to move on so instead of one we're looking at two players .Amat isn't the finished product and will get better with game time , Ash has peaked and there sonly one way he's heading and it's not up, Amat on the other hand is our future for 4-5 years imo
