Hello fellow ex-606ers Thought I'd pop in for a chat

JA606 are still struggling with their tech difficulties and 606 has finally been put out it's misery, so may stick with 'Not' for now, looks good, got a good set-up here.

Now 606 is closed people are deciding where to go. Ja606 couldnt of picked a worse time to have tech problems. Hopefully not606 get more members now

Tbh, as an internet forum regular, ive always hated the layout of 606, so basic, i much prefered it to be like the other forums i use like 'not606' is.

These kind of forums are much better imo, due to avatars, signatures etc.. it just gives everyone more of an identity.

So i'll be sticking here for my Leicester news

I think my intention is to be on both forums, although I did feel JA had the best site mainly as it was a carbon copy of BBC. But a mixture of tech difficulties, and the fact the site only appears in Rich Text form on my IE6 browser, may mean I spend more time on here.

We have tried to give the Leicester forum an identity with a background image. You can post pictures, videos and links something you cant do on ja606 or 606. You can have avatars, signatures aswell. Send people personal messages. Plus with the majority of the forums with their own mods it wont be killed like 606 was. I have been mod for ages and have hardly done anything as moderation should be.

If people like ja606, foxestalk or any other forum you can still be a member on here.

I'll probably use both as well, I do like the less formal/less basic nature of this site but JA has more members.

I joined JA, it looked familiar and had a lot of members. Until it is sorted out (and probably beyond) I will be here on not606
