Time for sharia law on crimes... We have homless people straving and dying and prisoners get nice warm beds, three meals a day and treats!
It has nothing to do with democracy, he has been preaching his extremist views and promoting extremist violence for years and years and everyone knows that if he were ever released he would be worse because he would use the fact he was imprisoned to brainwash young Muslims into joining his 'cause'.
The problem with that is he will still brainwash young Muslims into the belief that the Western world is evil and should be eradicated
Prison should be a punishment. OK, they take away their freedom to roam (which is a very big thing and not something I'd care to lose) but apart from that it doesn't come across as a punishment. Watching TV, playing computer games and pool, eating decent food without having the worries that the rest of us face to a greater or lesser degree. Why not give them a damp, dark comfortless cell, bread and water to eat and 10 hours of forced labour every day? That would be a punishment and it might just put a few of them off a life of criminality.
or that he may actually have worked for MI5 and 6 as an informer as the US alleged about the so called 7/7 mastermind aswat my understanding is the US can ask for extradition on release? could be wrong
we need to look at the people passing the judgements. most are so far removed from reality its unbelievable If they felt the anguish of a burglary or the sight of needles in the streets etc maybe they wouldnt be so 'PC'
tbh not so sure that would happen. its easier to brainwash in this country than some countries abroad. saudi would have killed him for example
