The last 10 minutes show how badly we need to hang on to the likes of Leaburn and CBT in January, not to mention Dobbo.
CBT and Dobbo are both out of contract in june. The lack of an announcement about a contract renewal is a worry. Not as if we will get much for a player with 6 months contract in january, but if they are not signed up, the club will need to balance the choice between a last six months with them, or a minimal payment.
They'll both be off, if the truth be known I'd guess Dobson in particular, is looking to move on to a club with better prospects. I'd imagine his agent has something lined up.
I must say we were very good first half and the comfortable up until Leaburn got subbed. Our defence was very bad after and always look like conceding
Lets hope that he cares enough to sign a new contract. If the owners have any ambitions for the club they'll make him an offer he can't refuse. We can have a real go at the playoffs if we keep our best players and sign a good left back. The longer we can keep Leaburn the more he's worth.
He's playing down the contract, comes down to money. Ambitions from SE7 Leaburn, hmmmm, if offered 3 million then take it. He'll have clubs sniffing then he'll go, good luck to him on a life changing move.
